The following Terms and Conditions apply to all driving services I provide. By requesting me to provide you driving services or training you agree to be bound by these.
PAYMENT
Payment in full becomes due at the time a service is requested or at the time any expense is incurred on your behalf. Payment is accepted by cheque (payable to R. Martin) or by cash.
I reserve the right to cancel or terminate any service where payments are outstanding.
TIMING
Appointments will start at the agreed time or at the time I arrive if that is later than the time of the appointment. I will wait a maximum of 10 minutes past the agreed start time, after which it will be deemed that you have cancelled the appointment.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel an appointment with less than 48 hours notice, or, if an appointment is cancelled at any time and I have incurred expenses in preparation for it’s provision, I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee up to a maximum of the agreed cost of the appointment.
HEALTH AND FITNESS
No alcohol or drugs other than drugs that have been prescribed or purchased "over the counter" are to be consumed within the 12 hours prior to any appointment.
You will notify me if there is any change to your health that may affect your ability to drive.
If I consider you to be unfit to drive for any reason the appointment will be terminated.
MISCELLANEOUS
You will notify me of if you are involved in any activity or occurrence that may cause a conflict of interests for me or any member of my family or where the provision of any service may bring me, my family or business into disrepute. If I am not so notified and I become aware of any such activity or occurrence I reserve the right to immediately cancel or terminate any current or future service.
You will notify me if your licence is revoked or you receive penalty points in the period between requesting training and the completion of it.
I reserve the right to cancel or terminate any appointment where I reasonably believe there is an undue risk to the health and safety of any person.
I reserve the right to withdraw the use of my car for a driving test should I consider your driving to not be of a sufficiently high standard.
LIABILITY
I will not be held liable for any losses arising as a consequence of providing, agreeing to provide, or failure to provide any service for whatever reason.
